Senior Backend Developer**, Metro Markets**
Palma (February 2023 - Present)
- Working in the Marketing Performance team.
Senior Backend Developer**, OmniAccess**
Palma (July 2020 - January 2023)
- Worked with the platform team to refactor the core backend architecture, migrating to several technologies (RabbitMQ, Timescale, Docker Swarm). Improving the ability to handle more load, reducing response times and turning deployments and recovery processes to zero downtime.
- Built multiple internal development tools in Python, Bash and Go to automate versioned builds, tests and deployments in several environments. Use it afterwards to implement custom Git flow and GitLab CI/CD that fits the needs of the developers and the products created.
- Worked on the core internal tool that monitors every component of the networks and terminals that provide internet access for the vessels, adding and maintaining features written in Python (AsyncIO).
Backend Developer, Eisi Soft
Palma (January - April 2020)
- Built a B2B marketplace prototype for hotels and businesses, including electricians, pool maintenance, woodworkers, and other related hospitality jobs. Developed entirely in PHP 7 and CodeIgniter.
- Created a new core wrapping up the old one to uncouple it from the old CodeIgniter version and introduce updated versions and new libraries.
Backend Developer, Agua3 & Overall Yachts
Palma (August 2018 - September 2019)
- Developed an entire GraphQL API with NodeJS for Overall Yachts, along with a full set of features for the launch of the first ready production MVP of the product, that helped to validate the business idea.
- Contributed to adding new features to Ad Machina, a marketing automation tool for Agua3, during the early stages of its development. Written in Python.
- Designed and created the infrastructure for both projects. Using Kubernetes, Google Cloud and Infrastructure as Code with the CI/CD allowed us to scale horizontally, in the event that the number of customers suddenly grew, and to have dynamic environments to showcase specific features for our customers.
Full Stack Developer, Habitissimo
Palma (July 2015 - July 2018)
- Worked with theΒ Marketplace team to create and maintain new features. The most relevant features are the redo of the entire business sign-up process, the home lead engagement form, multiple features related to referral programs to engage more businesses, the redesign of the business directory and the maintenance of the payment platform. Using PHP 7, Symfony and jQuery to make this happen.
- Specialist in operations, managing the weekly deployment of the entire website, daily monitoring of the platform and fixing the most urgent errors. Helping in the implementation of release processes for the code and the website translations.
- Created the End to End test suite for the main critical website processes. To improve the quality of the code released, using Python and Selenium combined with the GitLab CI/CD, this E2E suite test was launched for multiple devices every time a release candidate was created to validate the posterior deployment.
