Senior Backend Developer**, Metro Markets**
Palma (February 2023 - Present)
- Designed and built from scratch a marketing feed generation platform supporting multiple online marketplaces across several countries and a wide range of marketing channels. Developed in Go, leveraging Apache Kafka and Apache Flink to synchronize data from the primary data sources into dedicated MySQL stores, enabling the generation of highly customized marketing feeds.
- Led the migration of the legacy marketing analytics platform from Python 3.7 to Python 3.13, redesigning its architecture to support significantly larger volumes of metrics and accelerate the integration of additional marketing channels.
- Led the migration of all marketing data platforms from MySQL to ClickHouse, eliminating data processing bottlenecks and dramatically improving the performance of large-scale data ingestion and analytical queries.
Senior Backend Developer**, OmniAccess**
Palma (July 2020 - January 2023)
- Worked with the platform team to refactor the core backend architecture, introducing technologies such as RabbitMQ, TimescaleDB, and Docker Swarm. Improved platform scalability, reduced response times, and enabled zero-downtime deployments and recovery processes.
- Built multiple internal development tools in Python, Bash, and Go to automate versioned builds, testing, and deployments across multiple environments. Leveraged these tools to implement a custom Git workflow and GitLab CI/CD pipelines tailored to the needs of both developers and product teams.
- Contributed to the core monitoring platform used to oversee network infrastructure and internet-access terminals across the fleet, developing and maintaining features in Python (AsyncIO).

- Built a B2B marketplace prototype for hotels and businesses, including electricians, pool maintenance, woodworkers, and other related hospitality jobs. Developed entirely in PHP 7 and CodeIgniter.
- Designed and implemented a new application core around the existing platform, decoupling it from a legacy CodeIgniter version and enabling the adoption of updated frameworks and third-party libraries.
Backend Developer, Agua3 & Overall Yachts
Palma (August 2018 - September 2019)
- Developed a complete GraphQL API in Node.js for Overall Yachts, delivering the functionality required to launch the first production-ready MVP and validate the business concept.
- Contributed to the early development of Ad Machina, a marketing automation platform for Agua3, by designing and implementing new features in Python
- Designed and implemented the cloud infrastructure for both projects using Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines. Enabled horizontal scalability and on-demand dynamic environments for feature demonstrations and customer-specific requirements.

- Worked within the Marketplace team to develop and maintain key platform features, including a complete redesign of the business onboarding process, lead engagement forms, referral program enhancements, business directory improvements, and payment platform maintenance.
